Wordpress.org Blog

(Wordpress.org is an open source blog software that you've installed on your server. For wordpress.com blogs see the bottom of this article)

Qzzr content can be embedded on Wordpress.org blogs that you have installed and running on your own servers. Our script embed should work just fine for you as long as you're an 'Administrator' or an 'Editor' in Wordpress. The embed works by you pasting it in to a post with the "text" tab selected. Don't paste the script into the text editor when the "visual" tab is selected.

When you're all finished, it should look like this!

Unfortunately, Wordpress.com Blogs do not allow javascript or iframe embeds.

From Worpress.com's Support site http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/:

If you are familiar with HTML, you’ll notice that codes such as embed, frame, <strong>iframe</strong>, form, input, object, textarea and others are missing from the above list. Those codes are not allowed on WordPress.com for security reasons.

Users are not allowed to post JavaScript on WordPress.com blogs. JavaScript can be used for malicious purposes. As an example, JavaScript has taken sites such as MySpace.com and LiveJournal offline in the past. The security of all WordPress.com blogs is a top priority for us, and until we can guarantee scripting languages will not be harmful, they will not be permitted.

JavaScript from trusted partners, such as YouTube and Google Video, is converted into a WordPress shortcode when a post is saved.
